Hannah Kraus is a still life photographer whose imagery examines human intervention in the natural world. She uses found and collected items to compose her photographs, making visible the research that guides her work. Her commercial images and fine art are thoughtfully simplistic in form but bold in color and emotive inquiry.

Kraus graduated from Boston University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Film and Television. In 2017, she received her Master of Fine Arts in photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta, Georgia. Her work has been published internationally in Womankind magazine, reviewed in the Atlanta Journal Constitution, and exhibited throughout the United States. Always evolving her artistic practice, Hannah Kraus is currently exploring the use of photography in artist books. She resides and creates in San Francisco, California.
